This is Maurice 'Mike' Ashley a Grandmaster who started playing in the parks.

At Brooklyn’s I.S. 318, the Cool Kids Are the Chess Champs ...

A lot of these guys are ranked and the make their living playing chess and peeling smart-ass white guys who also don't think they can be beaten by anyone.
