Remember about a year ago there was meningitis out break from contaminated pain injections? Sixty four people died and hundreds were ill. There is now a bill in congress to increase federal oversight over compounding pharmacies. There is one big problem in the form of Republican Senator David Vitter of Louisiana. Vitter is holding up a vote in his battle to scrap the Affordable Care Act. He first wants a vote on disclosure of congressional aids chose of health care plans. This oversight bill on regulation of compounding pharmacies might save lives but with Vitter it is I will get my way or everyone will be sorry. My guess he was that way as a child. So why do these people get elected to office where they can cause real damage and harm to this country?
