1. In Arizona they have been checking all individuals in passenger cars for 10 years

at checkpoints 50 miles from the Border. Some of them on highways north of medium sized cities like Sierra Vista and Douglas.

Usually, they only ask you a question or two, but they have been known to ask to see your drivers license and for identity documents of anyone they "don't like the looks of" in your car.

Been going on for over 10 years.
