I think that the big story of the "glorious" Paul LePage's winning a second term was that he was rescued by Eliot Cutler, an independent who drew votes away from Democrat Mike Michaud. Cutler's platform could be summed up with "vote for me b ecause I want to be governor!"

Alan Caron is trying to be this year's Cutler, which just might get Republican Shawn Moody, whom is about as sharp as a bag of sledge hammers.
