Just got back from Maine

13. Much of my Maine time was spent in Portland and Acton, Maine which is near the N.H. border.

That was mid 70's to 98, when I sold the condo. Portland then was more fun. Second hand stores on Exchange Street, Art movie house, $1.00 movies that were subsidized by the town - Chamber of Commerce or whoever.

Now it is just Starbucks, The Gap and so forth.

I still go back but not often. I may go to the Dark Sky Festival in September, depending on the weather forecast.
