I do have a garden and I probably give over half to my neighbors. Here is what my grandfather told me when I was a child. Plant twice what you need and if it's a bad year you will have just enough if it's a good year every one will have enough. There were no super markets back then so what one raised was what they ate. May be some day there will be a different world and every one will have enough.
