when you get my age you have known this for at least 30 years- in my case it was in the 60's when I still believed long hair and shorts were for females! In fact a young athletic construction worker would be called a fagot by his peers if he had shoulder length hair or wore shorts anywhere but the beach(then they had to be cut-off levi's)!
so you see I have known this for close to 60 years! oh I still voted for some republicans ! there were a few of them left that realized if maine didn't let the new guy grow the state would not keep up with the rest of the world!Like I have said in the past I basically am independent but had to register to vote in the primaries! And I'm sure you realize I fought tooth and nail to throw that bunch out in nov. And I think once the voters realized how they were manipulated by outsider support like "alec" the real mainer stood up and voted! I n june we need to think outside the box! to get earnest people to run for office! I think DILL could run against any republican and win! She gained experience and many that voted for King will get behind her! few mainers will elect a party following tyrant who's plan is to keep big business from paying it's share while keeping the pay low and the benefits less until they are non-existent!
