BOSTON —A closing date has been set for the Boston Flower Exchange.

Vendors have been told to move out of the building by the end of the year, according to the Boston Globe.

The 5.6 acre site in the city’s South End was sold last year. Details of the sale have not been released, but the land is reported to have sold for more than $40 million.

The building is home to 13 vendors, who sell flowers to retail stores.

Wonder what will happen to that property now....? End of an era....
