When will people accept the fact Gun Free zone designations only affect law-abiding citizens. Criminals, by definition, ignore the laws and do whatever they want.

If passing a law against something made it magically go away, we wouldn't have:
Murders
Drugs
Car theft
...

Laws don't prevent crime, they just provide a framework for dealing with it the offense afterward.
