I doubt I'll ever run again. I really don't know the state or my area well enough to be an effective legislator, or pretty much anything else. Plus, I'm 67, and I think my political days are behind me.

Just to clarify what I'm suggesting for post cards: order standard sized ones. One side, like the picture of a picture post card, features you in some way. Even just "Elect Denise Lang" would suffice. The other side has the address part on the right, and the message part on the left.

Also, do you have walking cards? Something that you hand out at every door? One side should have your picture and a sentence or two that sums up your campaign. The other should have bullet points of specific issues, programs, whatever you want to emphasize. And I apologize profusely if you already know all this and have done them.

Another thing: You really ought to have all of your campaign materials printed by a union shop, and it should show that at the bottom. Democrats still support unions.

I still have various campaign materials packed away in boxes that are in back corners of closets.
