Rest stop here. Food, here. Hospital here. Those are all fine. They serve the interest of the traveler.

This is the result of Lady Bird's campaign to beautify the highways by removing commercial signage from berms of the federal highways.

I support this. Although, in this case, maybe a little ridiculous. Highway signs rust out and get replaced. Maybe just not allow their replacement.
