Being in the Food and Beverage industry for a few decades. One segment of Business was Nursing Homes and Senior all Service Retirement Centers.

Many and I will say many many of the Staff work at more than one home during a Work Week. This are minimum Wage Workers and only part time hours. Example of one small Town with two Nursing Homes, several of the Workers spent the morning shift at one Home and then went across town to the other at noon to work the afternoon shift at the other.

Health Care Persons are often Employed by Medical Care Contractors and are required to do patient follow ups daily at several Facilities.
