I gotta say it was something I needed and the landlord was completely unaware. Times were tough. It was next to the Willamette river. There was, in fact, flooding at one point. I hopped a train and got outta there. Call me nihilist but the survival instincts were on full throttle. Being a hippy didn’t pay well.
