2. Google vintage clothing stores in New York. There are probably several.

—Ellis Island
—Top of the Empire State Building
—Metropolitan Museum of Art (maybe the Temple of Dendur and check whether the Met has any clothing shows coming up, e.g.,

—Museum of Natural History
—for history, explore the UN and see what might be interesting there
—people watching having lunch at an outdoor cafe, there are several on Broadway around the Lincoln Center area
—perhaps a Broadway show
—a boat ride around Manhattan
—a shopping expedition in Bloomingdale’s Juniors Department

Greenwich Village usually has some funky shops that are fun to explore. Just stay away from the porn shops!
