And no one saw it. Just speculation on my part...

Something like this happened to basketball star Julius Erving's recovering addict son disappeared in a luxury car in the early 00s or late 90s in Florida.

The mystery of Erving's son's disappearance wasn't solved until a pond near Erving's estate was emptied revealing the car with his son's remains still in it...
