Then it was revised to allow for food, and pharmaceuticals. Fuel also, after all ya gotta get the rubes to church so as they can put their money in the till.

Later, it was put in a county, by county referendum. Only one county is still "closed" on Sundays. So you go to the supermarket and there are ropes around the light bulb and kitchen gadget sections.

The funny part is, that county, Bergen, has a significant Jewish population.
