It's hard enough to deal with things right now even with home security.

I have done volunteer work in my local homeless shelter, so I have some faint clue as to what it is like to be homeless. But only a faint clue. Even though I've been relatively poor at various times in my life, I've never been close to homelessness. I am enormously lucky, probably far more than I realize.
