For some reason the state legislature gets re-elected in perpetuity no matter what they do. Mine, for instance, tried to have our votes discarded like used Kleenex, and sends out a folksy newsletter about all the Boy Scout troops he sponsors and other such local things. And people can’t see through “he only cares about local issues” to notice he goes back to Harrisburg and toes the RWNJ party line.
