1. Some county election boards have aggressively "cured" mailed ballots with missing info

... while others haven't made much of an effort. As an example I know that Allegheny County made numerous phone calls and contacts to inform citizens about missing signatures/dates. Voters were told they still had time to correct the problem and provide missing info, and many ballots were cured. (I'm unsure of the exact number, but I remember in 2020 it was a few hundred ballots.)

If county election boards are proactive in contacting voters it could forestall the need to quarantine or throw out those ballots. Corrections can be made before the final ballot count is completed.
