8. The Republican led House hasn't done anything but talk yet.

Of course that could change if they continue to hold the debt ceiling hostage to their ridiculous demands.
If they crash the government, then they can claim that as an accomplishment.
In which case they will have done more in 6 months than all previous Congressional sessions combined...more to drive the nation, and the world, into a depression.
Will they claim responsibility for that astounding feat of legislative and political incompetence?
Probably not. They'll rant about how the Democrats caused it all.
And their base will believe them!
