some truth to what she says. The 24 hour cable news cycle certainly seems to feed off one crisis after another, almost to the point of "generating" news when there is little to report. The first thing I do when I hear of a tragic event is to turn off the TV and leave it off. I will get enough information anyway throughout the day and without the blather of the so called expert talking heads telling me the same thing over and over and over and over again.
