as to why such a small district has it's own police force. I live in Texas in a city with well over 300,000 people. Our school district has police resource officers from the city police department. My son's senior high (only 11th and 12th grades)
had almost as many students as the entire Uvalde school district population of 4150. They had one school resource officer. It just seems odd.
