7. After the great effort teachers made in the last big walkout,

it's distressing to see this happening. The charter movement is all about taking public school funds, privatizing education and breaking the strength of the teachers and the public school system as reports show.

Many charters, all over the country have turned out to be nothing but a scam--with shoddy inferior 'schools,' utilizing uncertified, lower paid staff and supplies, and making $. Everyone will suffer in time- the kids, school personnel, families and communities.

Teachers have provided invaluable services to West Virginia for generations; and the education system employees are a large part of the workforce there. This frontal attack to set up private schools is meant to tear all that down.

2020 can't get here fast enough!!
