Was it there in 1966? Plus we were broke.

Our heritage was from W.Va. So we got in the old
53 Buick with a case of Black Label and just headed
south on Rte 60 from Vermilion. Back in those
days a case could last all day. Strange thing was
lack of money, but we always managed to scrounge
up a few bucks. I am now bewildered on how we made
these excursions without cell-phones and maybe ten
bucks backup.
