Huge 'meat spill' blocks traffic after animal 'entrails' shower busy roadway [View all]

MELBOURNE, Australia (TND) — An awful offal overflow obstructed Australians.

Or, shedding alliteration, a truck spilled a bunch of meat on the M80 highway near an exit ramp in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday, which blocked traffic and led to lane closures.

Reportedly, a truck carrying the meat made an unexpected sudden stop, spilling its guts and turning a section of an expressway into what looked like a slaughterhouse floor.

Andrew Crook, a spokesperson for the Victorian Department of Transport, told the publication Broadsheet the sudden stop caused the entrails, which were sitting in an open-top trailer behind a semi-truck, to “pass over the cabin in a meaty wave”.
