but most years there are a few days of it, especially in more Northern areas. It more often happens in January, but is very unpredictable.

I'm not a fan of cold weather, but at least when it happens at this time of year, you know there's an end in sight.

Bad weather here tends to be sensationalized by the media - every year it's the worst EVER.
