... The local TV news show "Look North" is derisively known as "Look Leeds" as the regional news is seen as being much to skewed towards L**ds over the rest of Yorkshire.

I do however think that it's almost invariably a bad thing when the news where you are becomes the news where we are. See the floods in South Yorkshire today as a prime example of this.
