But there has to be a touch of insanity involved - in deciding that Iran is a great place for road tripping on a motorcycle? (or really virtually any other mode of transportation, or agenda?)

I certainly don't wish ill on these people. But at the same time think a certain amount of, "Whatever were you THINKING?" - is appropriate under the circumstances.
