9. Greek democracy from 600 to 326bc and there's been nothing since.

So, is there a point at which you will be talking about democratic reforms or will you continue trying to re work Madison's representative oligarchy?

I am going to have a hard time understanding how a direct democracy is less workable than all these contortions you are going through to insure equal representation in the senate and in the authorship of the new constitution.

Please give me an argument against a pure democracy that in your opinion makes it less desirable than one of the other four types of authoritarian govt.
