Mops! [View all]

Not talking about our beloved MopTops. Just mops!

We have mainly hardwood floors, some laminate, and the rest of the flooring is tile in our house. We have been using Swiffer, but based on a suggestion from a DUer, I bought Odoban, which is a pet odor removal and sanitizer for any hard-surfaced floor. Swiffer is fine for small stuff, but given what's going on, I think we need to be more thorough with the cleaning.

Accordingly, I want to get a mop, but I'm not sure what kind to get. For example, is an ordinary string mop good enough for our needs? What about a sponge mop? What's the difference? I'm also a bit leery of putting dirty water over the clean water, so I want to get one of those mop and bucket deals with a wringer. Is that useful? Or is it just a waste of cash.

Help, please! Your recs are very welcome.
