what kind of curtains? [View all]

I want cafe curtains in my new apt (on ground level).
I want privacy but I also want to let in as much sun/light as possible.

I'm wondering about the white lacy curtains that I see. They provide privacy during day, but in the night, when I have the lights on inside, could people could see in. I would think so.
