Help! I can't figure out on my very old mac how to post a picture. [View all]

There is a picture I want to copy and paste that doesn't have a jpg or pdf or any of those picture labels attached to it.

How do I copy it, and paste it on DU? I'm not good at this, so I prolly need a step by step instruction.
