Iphone while in car hears echo when she talks to me on my Iphone [View all]

I am in my car, my wife is in hers, she has her new X xr I have my X

She hears echo and it makes it impossible for her to talk to me, drives her crazy.

Called my son who has iphone and he was in his car, no echo.

Help please.
