Never text "STOP" to a spam message. It is simply a reply, and they know the number is good and sell it to more buyers. Only use the STOP option when a text is from a legitimate source and specifically states that texting STOP will take you off their list.

I'm getting a million texts wanting to sell my house. Many state my name wrong, and address wrong. I assume it is so I will reply saying that is not my name or address and bam! They've got my number. I've been blocking them but it's ridiculous, so I'm on the hunt for a way to also stop these scam text messages.
