I look at the big picture related to the world and peoples real lives. And if you don't think the President didn't win 2008 and 2012 without a left spin that drove the people to the poles, your crazy. And in fact, he's been pushing in that direction his second term much more forcefully...
47% of America cannot pay out an emergency bill of $400.00. Many still can't afford to become sick even with insurance and many many more children are being priced out of being able to compete with the jobs of the future in the global market due to costs... Countries we compete with provide these items as a part of their society or for minimal fees that don't break their citizens backs. Sorry, but people were completely unhappy with Republicans. They and their policies broke the economy... There was no real reason to compromise if he went to the people and asked them off of a huge historic winning high, to contact congress. Shoot, he may have even been able to force a Medicare for all program into play (80% approval by America-- even Trump has voiced support for this in the past)...
I'm not disgusting for having an opinion on a couple of places where I disagree with his policies.... And I'm certainly NOT a paid progressive whined. I work 60hrs a week, raise 2 kids, and still try to involve myself as much as I can in my community and in making it better for me, my kids, and everyone's future. And yes, I'm paid too damn little for my work time, so I struggle,
And there are many times I wouldn't have that extra $400.00 either.
