9. So much pandering to the worst elements of the Cuban "exile" diaspora has resulted in this .. Red State Floduh now.

I can't, for the life of me, understand why the Dem party puts forth candidates who feature the exact same platforms on Cuba as the GOP/tRumpsters. When Dems offer the same platform as the repukes, voters will vote for the repuke.

It's as if they deliberately ignore the 50% of the Cuban resident aliens and Cuban-Americans who want some or full normalization with Cuba so their families can live better lives.

Anyone want to tell me why the Democratic Party would oppose a system that featured universal healthcare and universal education, universal basic wage, etc etc?

Because of this ... Florida is now a Red State - thanks to losing Miami-Dade county where the concentration of rightwing Cuban "exiles" persists.
