...to help you. A couple of thoughts...

1. While I agree DU is great and there are many wonderful, kind people here, remember you are one of them. Don't sell yourself short.

2. Many young people your age volunteer for military service to cope with circumstances like yours. If that's an option for you, try the Navy...like my dad and your hero John Kerry. It's safer and can help with education and job options later.

3. California is nice...
