2. I've had my Tracfone for nearly 10 years. Like you, I only wanted it for emergencies.

I'm also in my 60's. The only time it's ON is when I'm in my car or otherwise traveling.
I learned how to send simple text messages to my daughter... like "HOME".
It costs me $21.73 every three months. Can't beat that.
