1. HSAs Can Be Used in Retirement to Cover Medicare Out of Pocket Charges Too

I accumulated a sizeable HSA over 10 years in a High Deductible plan. I was fortunate enough to be able to contribute the max every year. I'm using the money in retirement to pay for medical, prescription drugs, vision and dental expenses and to reimburse myself for my Medicare B and D monthly premiums.
