Illinois budget cuts could mean 13,400 teacher layoffs

1. What is wrong with people?

This is so wrong on so many levels. We have been inundated with right wing propaganda for so long that even parents cannot be outraged how their children's futures are being shortchanged for the benefit of a few wealthy people. The number one way to improve education is smaller class sizes. Cutting teachers means larger class size and much less personal attention.

The push for more learning in front of computer screens even for young children is going to prevent them from achieving to their full potential. Oh my goodness, what a disaster for our children, our future.
