(4,511 posts)33. Isaac Asimov wrote "Realm of Algebra," "Realm of Numbers," etc.
I struggled with math of all kinds as a child. My turnaround began when I read this wonderful series of books by Isaac Asimov. They are full of beautiful insights about the inner workings of algebra and other branches of mathematics. He made the logic and the lore of mathematics come alive for me! All the way through, I kept saying to myself, "So this is what that teacher was trying to tell me!" After that, I found it so much easier to learn all kinds of mathematics.

both boys did that with their spanish, also. yes. my oldest graduated with enough course to
