1. It was long about 15 years ago, Joyce and I on vacation in San Francisco. Fisherman's Wharf ---

I guess there was an abundance of salmon that summer. Fish were being sold off the dock at about $5.00 per fish. I recall a couple of people on bicycles, with fish sticking out of backpacks, peddling off the wharf.

In other words, the commercial fishermen were on the balls of their asses. Times were tough.

I overhear an elderly woman go up to a fisherman, "Do you have a senior citizen discount?
