3. I hate to see trees cut down too.

Our new neighbor just had five lovely old maple trees completely cut down.

Pine trees, however …. now if they’re in good shape that’s one thing. But around here we’ve had spindly pine trees fall over in storms (due to shallow roots, I’m told). And when the homes were built decades ago, the homeowners planted the trees way too close to the house not completely understanding how big they’d eventually get. Roots get in the foundations or the pipes, etc. Pine needles clog up the gutters, etc.

I sure wouldn’t be too thrilled to see the trees removed for more vehicle parking, however.

We have 3 acres and 30+ large trees so we deal with tree issues a lot.
