8. Like I said, no amount of information can change the dogma of a cult.

I suppose one could compare the carbon intensity of Germany owing to the coal and gas burned there, with that of France, data that's readily available on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis, but that would have no bearing on a whether one will here a dogmatic and nonsensical assertion that so called "renewable energy" does not depend on fossil fuels.

No amount of information can change the beliefs.

Apparently the ongoing and rapidly accelerating collapse of the planetary atmosphere coupled with the vast expenditures on reactionary schemes to make energy supplies dependent on the weather has had no effect on making one step outside of dogma to think. I am unsurprised.

It is always a waste of time to argue with religious fundementalists, but one of the joys of writing at DU, when one runs across similar people with nothing but delusional slogans, we have an ignore list.

I really have no interest or time for this sort of thing. I've already wasted too much time on these sorts over the years. They're pretty much the same, some worse than others..

I hope you enjoy having a DU star; have a fun life despite the climate inaction you endorse. We won't be chatting again.
