you forgot to mention that they have to be on the road with other drivers, who seem to forget that the bus is a MUCH larger object than their cars. I have seen some incredibly stupid things done by drivers in front of buses.

and, don't know what it is like elsewhere, but here, the city spends a lot of time and money trying to bust the union.
