Suppose a state -- any state -- passes a law allowing any woman to sue anyone within that state's jurisdiction who impedes or prevents her from terminating a pregnancy. Damages to include 18 years of child support, plus pain and suffering, attorneys' fees, court costs, collection costs, and any other costs incurred by the plaintiff as a direct consequence of the defendant's impairment of her rights.
