Woman-hating, incompetent quack. As far as I am concerned, he murdered her.

This dismissal of women and their concerns and issues exists in pretty much all fields, but is especially pernicious in medicine. An article was posted recently on DU about the higher rate of death amoung women treated by male surgeons. And, of course, the lack of awareness and treatment of heart attacks and general heart conditions in women.

And people wonder why I try to avoid the medical world as much as possible.
