3. I've been taking 5000 since I was diagnosed with osteopenia.

My dr. said that after menopause, 1750 to 2000 is a maintenance dose, and mine was low. Not sure 5K is bringing my levels up much, but sounds like I should get another bottle now. Rather take pills than have to go in for a shot every week or so. I didn't realize it helped with the immune system. Thanks for the info!
