Not to have daily or widespread exposure to tobacco smoke.

But the cleaner lung hypothesis is still only that—a hypothesis. For now.

We may have been lucky that kids have managed to avoid deleterious effects from the virus, thus far.

One factor might be that parents are more likely to take their kids to a doctor over a high fever right away and follow through with a treatment plan than they’ll do for themselves. Getting some kind of treatment in the early stages may be the key to pulling through.
