This is what saved my 81 year old mother who survived the virus in late-February. Her Dr. in San Francisco through daily video visits advised her to keep up her daily walks and weekly hikes. IF and only if her breathing becomes difficult, then she will need to be hospitalized. Well, on the 9th day after symptoms started she did have to be hospitalized. Her test came back positive and she started hydroxychloroquine and Z-Pak. She was in ICU for 4 days and now is home recovering nicely. Her doctor told us that once intubation and being on a ventilator is required, she would have a chance but very slim due to her age. He is adamant that keeping active and moving was the key to saving my mother. Keep positive and if you can go for walks daily!
